REIKI HEALING THERAPY
Reiki is a complete healing system. It is safe, natural and a holistic way of treating many conditions. Reiki is a secular enlightenment system and healing system. Reiki works on many levels. it has an intelligence of it's own and will go where ever it is needed be it body, mind or spirit. It activates the body's natural ability to heal itself. Blocked energies are released and the body is cleansed of toxins allowing the body to then return to a state of balance.
Reiki supports the recipient in making the necessary changes in lifestyle and attitude to promote a happier and healthier life. It is a system of natural healing which is thousands of years old. It it believed Tibetan Buddhist Monks first used the technique around 2,500 years ago. it is mentioned in Tibetan Sutra's and ancient records of Cosmology and Philosophy. The Usui system of Reiki is a simple but powerful healing technique easily given and received by anyone.
Reiki is different from other healing systems as the Attunnements are an ancient process of tuning the healer's body, both physical and esoteric to a higher vibration and creating a clear channel for the energy to flow. Once this channel is opened, it will remain so for the rest of the healer's life.
The Reiki healing energy moves through the healer, dispelling blockages and negativity before being channeled to the recipient, thus never draining the healer. In fact, the more Reiki a practitioner gives, the more will be received as they heal themselves and others.
As Reiki energy flows through all living things, it aids and promotes life itself.
All healers channel life force energy, but not all use Reiki which works on a specific vibration. It is widely accepted that Reiki not only complements other therapies, but also actively increases the strength of those healing energies by up to fifty per cent. Reiki is very grounding and works immediately as channels are already open. Reiki flows immediately as hands are placed on themselves or others.
ENERGY HEALING THERAPY
Healing whether it is Energy, Crystal or Reiki is the channeling of universal energies through the healer to the patient. It enables the person to heal themselves in mind, body and spirit, re-energizing and relaxing the patient, so that they can deal with illness or injury.
Healing helps to restore emotional and mental wellness. It helps with tension, stress and fatigue and is generally beneficial. It brings harmony, balance and sense of peace and calm. Sometimes one treatment is enough, but often several sessions are needed for maximum benefit.
By sourcing energy drawn down through the healer to the patient, this reduces stress-related illnesses and symptoms. This utilizes the persons natural energy to restore health and gives the patient a sense of wellness, relaxation and feeling revitalized.

The idea is to help people improve the quality of their lives through the use of healing, but also using the tools of meditation with the healing along with a gentle neck and shoulder massage to alleviate the stress associated with the day to day worries and activities, which causes tension problems, especially in the shoulders, which is often caused by overuse of computers, stress and tension. This is a half hour treatment which complements the healing.
Nothing is asked of the patient except a desire to be healed and a degree of trust in the healer. The motivation and the need for change can also be helpful. Healing penetrates the deepest levels of a person’s being, where many illnesses have their origins i.e., stress, tension and fatigue - the symptoms disappear when the cause is revealed and removed. Changes in attitude and quality of life often follow. The power of nature is to enable us to help ourselves. Crystals have the universal energies flowing through them and will respond to the universal energies flowing through the human energy field, when they are directed by high vibrational intent (thought energy) to work for the highest good of the patient.
Two contrasting theories of how crystals work - Crystals exhibit properties of both piezoelectricity and pyroelectricity.
Piezoelectricity is whereby electricity and sometimes light is produced via compression. If the crystal is struck it will produce a flash of light. Compression produces the release of electrons. Release of compression allows expansion of the crystal and re-absorption of electrons producing mechanical energy or vibration.
Pyroelectricity is an electrified state or polarity which is produced by and changes with variation in temperature. Heated then cooled the crystal may first attract then repel particles of ash.
The complimentary energies of both healer and crystal combine to help balance the patient through the Chakras, where the crystals are laid. In addition the minerals contained in crystals can be absorbed when worn on the body next to the skin.
